I grew up in the Pacific Northwest surrounded by the beauty of the streams, lakes, and endless mountains. You will find many of these themes in my paintings as I love always trying new ways to create on paper the beauty of nature.

Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you enjoy my creations.

Mary vividly remembers her first art lesson as a five-year-old at her grandmother’s side. From then on, she found ways to engage in creation. Mary grew up without real plans for her future but was always open to new opportunities. After working for over a decade in juvenile corrections, she switched gears, opened a custom slipcover company, and began growing her creative instincts by helping people bring beauty into their homes. It was during this time she began to paint. A class here or there and a year studying with northwest watercolorist Richard Rathbun began Mary’s watercolor career.
